Dr Julian launches digital ADHD pre-screening service

Digital mental health platform Dr Julian has launched a new ADHD pre-screen consultation service aimed at reducing waiting times for assessment and treatment.

Designed for use by employers, occupational health teams and NHS partners, the service offers 60-minute remote consultations with clinicians trained in ADHD and neurodiversity. The service includes a clinical report and tailored next-step recommendations, which may involve referral for full ADHD assessment, therapeutic support, or onward referral to other healthcare services.

Patients also receive access to a digital resource hub with curated neurodiversity self-help tools.

According to the company, the new service is already being adopted across sectors as organisations seek to support staff wellbeing, reduce delays and meet regulatory requirements for reasonable adjustments.

Full diagnostic assessments, delivered by ADHD specialists, are also available through the platform.

Founder and NHS GP Dr Julian Nesbitt (pictured) said: ‘ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence are often missed or misunderstood, especially in the workplace. This service offers employers faster access to specialist insight and gives individuals the clarity and direction they need, at a time when early understanding can make all the difference.’

The launch adds to Dr Julian’s wider digital offering, which includes therapy, coaching and neurodiversity services delivered by a national network of more than 400 clinicians. The platform, which has supported over one million therapy sessions, is available 24/7 via video, phone or live chat, with users able to choose therapists by language, background, or clinical approach.

ADHD pre-screen consultations are available via referral or self-referral and can be integrated into existing occupational health, HR or NHS pathways.
