EAP provider partners with Doctor Care Anywhere

Pebble Wellbeing has signed a partnership with Doctor Care Anywhere to offer employees access to virtual GP, physiotherapy and mental health practitioner appointments.

Under the agreement, customers of the employee assistance programme (EAP) provider will be able to book video or telephone consultations with UK-registered GPs, access musculoskeletal clinicians for physiotherapy support, and arrange appointments with qualified mental health practitioners. The additional services are intended to complement Pebble’s existing digital mental health tools, confidential counselling and 24/7 support line.

Pebble Wellbeing, founded by executives with more than 20 years’ experience in the EAP market, said the move expands the clinical element of its wellbeing offer, providing a more integrated pathway from everyday support through to primary care.

Head of Pebble Wellbeing David Elliott said: ‘This partnership strengthens the everyday wellbeing support we offer our Customers. By adding GP, physio and additional access to mental health appointments through Doctor Care Anywhere, we’re giving organisations a simple, powerful way to help their people feel supported at every stage.’

Doctor Care Anywhere Group plc provides telehealth services to insurers, healthcare providers and corporate clients via its proprietary platform. The company said the partnership would widen access to timely care for Pebble’s customers.

Doctor Care Anywhere sales director James Entwistle said: ‘This partnership makes it even easier for Pebble Wellbeing Customers to access timely primary care, from GP appointments to physiotherapy and mental health support. We’re committed to delivering fast, clinically led care that fits around people’s lives.’

Pebble Wellbeing said the collaboration forms part of its strategy to offer a simplified, digital-first wellbeing solution for UK employers, combining preventive support with rapid access to clinical services.
