Harley Street Health District conference to return in October

Harley Street Health District will hold its biennial conference in London this October, with NHS and independent healthcare leaders set to discuss investment, prevention and innovation across the sector.

The Delivering Impact Through a Collaborative Health District conference will take place at 1 Wimpole Street on 20 October.

The conference comes after Harley Street Health District published its first Impact Report, which estimated the district’s market value at £1.85bn and said it contributed £810m to the UK economy over the past year.

The report also identified £42.4m of investment in healthtech property by the Howard de Walden Estate.

Howard de Walden Estate chief executive Mark Kildea said: ‘The Impact Report shows the scale of the work being done by our occupiers, but also what’s possible when you bring together world-class healthcare organisations and leaders in one location.’

Speakers include NHS England London regional director Dame Caroline Clarke, Howard de Walden Estate non-executive director Lord Kakkar and London & Partners chief executive Laura Citron.
