Healthhero expands services with mental health support

Digital healthcare company HealthHero has partnered with workplace wellbeing provider Validium to launch an employee mental health offering.

The service includes counselling programmes, psychological interventions, critical incident support and training.

Ranjan Singh, chief executive officer of HealthHero, said: ‘Now, more than ever, both individuals and employers are recognising the need to be proactive in supporting mental health. Through the clinical expertise of HealthHero’s expanding team, combined with the convenience of our digital platform, we are helping to break down barriers to mental health support and create greater access to healthcare for all.’

Last month, Healthhero made several senior appointments as part of its ongoing expansion.

The company welcomed Aseem Sadana as its chief operating officer and Jonathan Hill and Sam Shah as advisers.

Launched in autumn 2019 and backed by pan-European investment house Marcol, HealthHero is a digital health provider that currently operates in the UK, Germany, and the Republic of Ireland.

In August the company acquired Berlin-based telemedicine platform Fernarzt.com.
