The Whiteley Clinic launches non-invasive treatment for varicose veins

The Whiteley Clinic has launched a non-invasive treatment for varicose veins.

SONOVEIN is a treatment for varicose veins and uses high precision echotherapy to treat patients 100% non-invasively without the use of catheters, chemical injections or incisions.

The treatment is a more cost-effective way to treat the condition. The SONOVEIN machine can be operated by one person and no hospital beds are required.

‘Varicose veins are a condition which affect over 30% of the population. If left untreated, they can lead to serious health conditions such as blood clots and leg ulceration,’ said Professor Mark Whiteley, founder of The Whiteley Clinic.

‘SONOVEIN has created the first ever non-invasive treatment for varicose veins, using high precision echotherapy. This is a medical breakthrough which will completely alter the way we treat varicose veins and venous issues in the UK – and all over the world – in the years to come, whilst also transforming treatment experience and recovery times for patients.

‘We are very proud to be the first clinic in the UK to be offering SONOVEIN’s echotherapy for the treatment of varicose veins, and look forward to rolling this ground-breaking new treatment out to the UK public in the months to come,’ he continued.

Founded in 2000, The Whiteley Clinic is a vein clinic, specialising in endovenous treatment of varicose veins. It opened its first clinic in Guilford and has expanded to Bristol and London.
