Totally secures £7.5m in contract extensions and new business

Wendy Lawrence, chief executive officer, Totally plc

Out-of-hours and urgent care provider Totally plc has announced a number of contract extensions, including a 12-month extension for services provided at urgent treatment centres in Greater London.

The company, which last month announced a 35.8% jump in revenue to £105.9m for the year to 31 March 2020, also announced it had secured funding to pilot additional clinical services in the North East of England.

The company said it could not disclose details of the pilot due to confidentiality requirements but, together with the extensions, it amounted to roughly £7.5m of business being awarded to its subsidiaries Vocare and Greenbrook Healthcare Limited.

Totally CEO Wendy Lawrence said: ‘I am pleased to report on the continued success of the Group’s subsidiaries, where employees have been working tirelessly throughout the ongoing pandemic. The retention of Vocare and Greenbrook as the preferred providers of these urgent care services demonstrates the continued confidence in our service delivery across the UK.

‘Totally is proud to be standing shoulder to shoulder with the NHS, helping it to manage fluctuating demands for patient-facing services. The company looks forward to updating the market on its first quarter activity as part of a trading update planned for release in September.’
