Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has launched a digital TCM innovation centre, to benefit patients across the world with TCM resources.
The project consists of three parts: the big data centre, the internet medical centre and the exhibition centre of TCM.
Based on the health record database of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission combined with patients’ data from the university and its affiliated hospitals, the big data centre will integrate scientific research, medicine research and development, and the inheritance of TCM thought.
The internet medical centre will integrate TCM medical resources from a variety of hospitals and provide a service to patients from all around the world.
The exhibition centre of TCM will demonstrate the achievements and future development direction of the combination of TCM and new information technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing and 5G.
