According to First Post, India’s Maharashtra state government has partnered with real estate group, Mahindra Lifespaces to develop the coastal town of Murud, NW India, as a medical tourism and wellness destination. It is expected to be one of the biggest investments in the medical tourism and wellness industry in the state.
Requiring around Rs 500 crore (US$72m) investment and creating around 6,000 jobs, the project will span 1,300 acres. It is expected to be one of the biggest investments in medical tourism and wellness industry in the state and will be developed under the state’s tourism policy.
