International Assistance Group appoints Help Group as Core Partner

The world’s largest alliance of independent assistance companies, International Assistance Group (IAG) has appointed Tunis based Help Group to the limited classification of Core Partner specifically for Tunisia.

Founded in 2011, Help Group International handle almost 15,000 cases per year in medical and travel assistance and more than 1 million invoices are managed through third-party administration (TPA) services. With a focus on quality, international accreditations have been attained in quality management, environment management and occupational health and safety. The 24/7 alarm centre is staffed by over 60 people across all disciplines including medical personnel.

The appointment signals increasing confidence with the Tunisian in-bound travel market following the tragedy of 2015. According to various public news services, in-bound traffic levels are due to increase in 2018, returning Tunisia to pre-2015 levels.

“We are delighted that Help Group applied and attained Core Partner status after a rigorous vetting and approval process. Historically, Tunisia has been a very popular destination for leisure travellers, as well as for many of our partner companies and their clients and it is fantastic that we now have a new partner of such scope and quality,” said Cécile Hermetz, General Manager of the International Assistance Group.

“This is an exciting moment for Help Group as we embark on becoming a regionally leading assistance company. Our partnership with IAG allows us access to a worldwide network providing outstanding service to our global client base. Their considerable knowledge-sharing support will enable to deliver relevant integrated services to both customers and travellers whilst driving high standards of service delivery,” said Ahmed Choucheni, CEO of Help Group International.

Choucheni added, “We will support IAG Partners in every sense, ensuring services are tailored to their needs and secure their global ambitions.”
