Dubai-based conglomerate Al-Futtaim Group has launched a health hub to bring specialised care to residents across the region. These clinics will range from surgical centres and two hospitals, with regional and international expansion planned over the next two years.
‘It gives us great pleasure to see large market players like Al-Futtaim investing in the private health sector of Dubai and UAE and becoming significant investors in this vital economic sector,’ said Humaid Al Qutami, chair of the board and director general of the Dubai Health Authority.
Founded in the 1930s, the Al-Futtaim Group is structured into eight operating divisions: automotive, electronics, insurance, services, real estate, retail, industries, and overseas.
