New tourism complex in Morocco includes medical centres

The first two phases of the mega mixed-use project Emirates Touristic Resort in Marrakesh, Morocco is set for completion in the second quarter of this year, and features medical tourism centres.

Dubai-based GVG Real Estate Development reports that steady progress is being made at the Emirates Touristic Resort, a mega mixed-use project coming up in Morocco, with its first two phases set for completion in the second quarter of 2021. It is one of the largest developments in Morocco.

The Emirates Touristic Resort in Marrakesh features 350 residential villas and 36 hotel apartment buildings in addition to medical tourism centres, a spa, a sauna, fitness centre, shopping centres, restaurants, cafes, sports complexes, swimming pools and green parks.

The project is being developed in four phases, of which two are nearing completion along with the infrastructure works. 80% of the construction work has been completed on the first batch of residential villas, while the first batch of hotel apartment buildings is 40% ready
