Next steps in Amaala development in Saudi Arabia

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia runs Amaala. It aims to create a new concept for ultra-luxury tourism focusing on wellness, healthy living, and meditation.

The initial funding for the project is provided by PIF, who will spearhead the development of Amaala into a bespoke hospitality experience in partnership with private enterprise, and investment packages will be available for the private sector.

Amaala is focused on several categories: wellness, healthy living and sports; art and culture; and sea, sun and lifestyle with the resort being planned over three sites within the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Natural Reserve. The development will include 2,500 hotel rooms as well as 700 luxury villas with plans for completion by 2028.

The development of Amaala includes Triple Bay. Triple Bay will offer a fully holistic wellness retreat, diagnostic medical facilities and authentic treatments designed to feature the local environment. Triple Bay will also be home to a fully integrated sports and entertainment community.
