Panama achieves Safe Travels stamp

Although only a minor health and tourism destination, mainly for people from the USA, Panama is now open again for travellers.

Panama has achieved the Safe Travels stamp , aligning protocols developed by the Ministry of Health with WTTC standards, so that travellers can have a safe journey through the country.

The country is open for all nations, including the USA.

All travellers arriving in Panama must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate no older than 48 hours before travel. Without such a PCR test people can get tested at the airport and quarantine for 7 to 14 days; dependent on the results of the test.

All incoming travellers must have travel insurance that covers COVID-19 for the duration of their trip to Panama.
