Singapore to reopen to all countries

Singapore is currently one of the most difficult countries to visit. Having remained virtually sealed off from the rest of the world for the best part of the pandemic, and only allowing pre-approved travellers arriving from specific countries, it looks to return to normality soon.

Although attracting millions of tourists, inbound medical tourism numbers have fallen over a decade as medical costs rocket.

The country is now making preparations to abolish its most restrictive Covid entry curbs, including the vaccinated travel lanes.

No date has yet been announced but local sources suggest it could be weeks rather than months ahead.
