Cosmos and WMC intend to establish 100 hospitals and urgent care clinics throughout Pakistan. They will also promote medical tourism to Pakistan and Thailand, as hospitals can refer patients to 13 WMCH associated hospitals and clinics in Thailand.

Thailand’s World Medical Central Hospital (WMCH) and Cosmos Health Services (CHS) have signed a joint venture to set up 100 hospitals and urgent care clinics across Pakistan.

World Medical Hospital (WMC) is the brand for a new hospital group owned by Bangkok Chain Hospital (BCH). Cosmos Health Services (CHS) is Pakistan’s first premium hospital network that provides personalised healthcare with five-star amenities.

This first-ever collaboration between a Pakistani and a foreign medical consortium will focus on introducing the latest technologies in surgery, palliative care and in other areas of advanced medical procedures. The vision is to become the standard bearer of premium healthcare throughout Pakistan, where patients would be provided state of the art solutions for traumatic injuries in an ICU-based environment.
