Wellness spas expanded in Thailand

Thailand wellness spa treatment

South Asia beauty and wellness brand, VLCC Group, has announced a collaboration with Thailand’s Minor International to offer wellness spas to travellers.

VLCC will operate the spas across Minor International’s hotels, with the first launch at the Avani+ Hua Hin Resort, near Bangkok last month.

The facility will offer solutions for lifestyle-related medical issues, detoxification therapies, spa and beauty treatments as well as aesthetic dermatology treatments. The medical improvement and wellness enhancement programmes will focus on diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and the gut ecosystem. The programmes will combine modern medical investigations with complementary and alternative medicine, customised diets and physical activity regimen to deliver holistic results.

The medical team at the wellness centre includes a specialist aesthetic and regenerative doctor, physiotherapist, nutritionist, medical nurse and Ayurvedic practitioner from India.

VLCC and Minor believe that proactive health care and wellness tourism will be a major growth area globally across age groups over the next few years.
