Australia introduces £3.7bn care package

While the UK waits patiently to see whether the Dilnot Commission’s recommendations will feature in government’s White Paper, Australia has unveiled a Aus$3.7bn (£2.4bn) care package to allow older people to stay in their homes longer and make the cost of care fairer.
