Autumn statement points to austere future for care funding

Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne published his autumn statement last month ending speculation about whether it would finally reveal if the government would implement the Dilnot Commission’s recommendation (CCMn July 2011) to introduce a cap on care fees.
