B’ham & District GPs see profits rise

Birmingham and District General Practitioner Emergency Room (BADGER), the out of hours co-op service for member GPs in the area, directors’ report and financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2013 showed an increase in turnover from £11.8m in 2012 to £13.4m for the period in question. Cost of sales was £9.7m (2012: £8.7m) and administrative expenses £2.8m (2012: £2.8m). Profit before tax was £909,000 (2012: £404,000).
