BG Healthcare records losses

BG Healthcare Ltd made an operating loss for the year ending 31 March 2012 despite an increase in turnover of more than £2m. The cosmetic surgery firm recorded a turnover of £11.3m (2011: 9.1m) but costs of sales increased from £3.7m in 2011 to £5.2m. Administrative expenses also grew to £6.8m (2011: £5.4m). This left an operating loss of £757,000 (2011: £785,000) leading to a loss for the financial year after taxation of £1.1m (2011. £1.2m).
