Bid costs hit profit at TDL

High bid costs and last minute procurement cancellations have hit profits at The Doctors Laboratory (TDL). The company, which provides clinical pathology to private and NHS clients, reported operating profit of £9.5m (2012: £8.4m) on sales of £62.2m (2012: £50.9m) for the year ended 30 June 2013.
