Cambridgeshire and Peterborough contract pushed back

NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG has pushed back the start date for its flagship older people’s and adult community health contract after concerns were raised over tight timescales. The £800m contract was due to start in January next year but, following a public consultation, the CCG said its governing body had agreed to move it back to April to ensure a smooth transition between the appointment of the preferred bidder and the start of the contract.
