NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG has pushed back the start date for its flagship older peoples and adult community health contract after concerns were raised over tight timescales. The £800m contract was due to start in January next year but, following a public consultation, the CCG said its governing body had agreed to move it back to April to ensure a smooth transition between the appointment of the preferred bidder and the start of the contract.
