Care UK complaint prompts Monitor investigation

Monitor has launched an investigation into the commissioning of elective services by four CCGs following a complaint by Care UK that their decision to award a five-year contract to run the North East London Treatment Centre to Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospital NHS Trust breached competition rules.
