Concern raised over hip replacement implants

Since it has emerged that hip replacement operations may have left some patients with faulty implants, the industry has been far from uniform in its response. Some providers are unable to provide and claim not to know – details of their liability, whether in terms of patients at risk or financial cover of checks and replacements.
