Work began last month on the first of ten new care homes and health and wellbeing centres for Suffolk county council which are set to be operated by Care UK (CCMn November 2012). The first development in the £60m scheme, which is being constructed by Castleoak, is at Aster Road in Chantry, Ipswich.
