Councils will cut, claims ADASS

A survey carried out by the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has found that while local authorities intend to reduce spending on adult social care by £1bn in the coming year, over three quarters have either frozen or increased fees to care providers in the independent sector.
