Dentistry poised for brand boom

The dentistry sector is poised for a boom in consolidation and branded companies according to Justin Ash, chief executive of Oasis Healthcare. Mr Ash explained that at the moment, the NHS market for dentistry is fairly flat – with only 1-2% growth compared to 5% from 2008-2012. This, together with a lack of funding, constrained costs and patient fees rising meant that the market was ripe for independent growth.
