DH to review nursing care rate

The Department of Health (DH) is to review the rate paid by the NHS to private care providers for nursing services. A decision on whether the current rate of £112 a week per resident is reflective of the costs of providing this important service and supports high quality out-of-hospital care’ will be taken once the review is completed this financial year, according to DH.
