DH will not save failing providers

Despite calls for the government to intervene were there to be another corporate social care failure on the scale of Southern Cross, the Department of Health (DH) has released a discussion paper which makes clear its belief that any possible changes in regulation in the forthcoming White Paper should not protect providers from their own operational failings.
