EBITDA up at Independent Clinical Services

Improved trading conditions have helped deliver a 22.5% increase in EBITDA for staffing provider Independent Clinical Services, backed by private equity firm Blackstone. The company said funding pressure in the NHS had continued to suppress demand for staffing services. However, it added that by reacting quickly to changing market conditions, it achieved EBITDA (adjusted for exceptional costs and monitoring fees) of £24.5m in the year ended 31 December 2011 against £20m in 2011.
