Fletcher steps down at Bupa UK

Stuart Fletcher has stepped down as chief executive of Bupa UK following a turbulent period for the care home operator (see this issue: company news). He had been with the provident association since March 2012, joining from drinks giant Diageo. Chairman Lord Leitch said: Under Stuart’s leadership current growth plans do not match our expectations, and so we have agreed that the time is right for him to step down.’
