Four Seasons boosts private pay arm

Four Seasons Health Care has further boosted its private pay arm by acquiring seven care homes from high-end provider Majesticare. The deal sees 358 beds and 410 staff added to the UK’s largest care home operator’s estate. This marks the third addition to Four Seasons self-pay division since private equity group Terra Firma acquired Four Seasons (CCMn May 2012). Last year it acquired Optimum Care (CCMn May 2013), which operates 17 care homes serving the private market under the Avery brands, as well as four care homes in Bristol from Mimosa Healthcare Holdings. It now has more than 80 premium homes.
