In its final accounts for the year ended 31 December 2012, Mears Group reported revenues of £679.5m, an increase of 15% on £589m the previous year. This figure included £45m from acquisitions made during the report period including the purchase of Morrison Facilities Services for £24m in the summer. Due to £163.3m in administration costs (2011: £152m) an operating profit before exceptional costs of £20.6m was recorded, a drop of 9.4% from 2011s £22.7m.
