Mencap rallies funding support

Charitable learning disabilities provider Mencap is asking the public to petition the government to find more money for social care services. In a new online campaign, Mencap asks people to email the government to provide the finance to end the care crisis’. Mencap has launched the campaign as the government decides how much funding it will allocate to provide social care services (CCMn April 2013).
