More end-of-life care needed GPs say

Doctors say more hospices, care homes and other end-of-life facilities are needed to support people with long-term degenerative conditions such as dementia. Writing in the British Medical Journal of Supportive and Palliative Care, doctors warn that gradual’ deaths from chronic diseases place a considerable burden’ for European countries, including Britain.
