The Mayor of Gateshead, Joe Mitchinson, officially opened a new dementia unit at Bondcares Wallace House care home in Dunston, last month. The Ravenhouse Suite can provide care for 22 live-in residents. The facility includes coloured doors, themed corridors, meaningful pictures and clear signage to help residents identify different rooms.
