NICE publishes commissioning guide for dementia services

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published a guide to commissioning care for people suffering from dementia. Formerly the National Institution for Health and Clinical Excellence, NICE took on the responsibility for publishing social care guidance and quality standards under the Health and Social Care Act (2012) in April to bridge the gap between health and social care services (see this issue: News).
