Non-residential funding cap being considered

Worcestershire council is planning to introduce a cap on funding for non-residential social care. The local authority has launched a consultation on what it calls its Maximum Expenditure Policy, which will apply to all adult social care users so that decision making about resource allocation is fair, equitable, transparent and demonstrates value for money’.
