Ombudsmen back end-of-life care choice

In what could have far-reaching implications for end-of-life care, the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and Local Government Ombudsman have jointly ruled against two local authorities, a GP practice, a hospital trust and a primary care trust for failing to allow a pensioner to die at home.
