Prudential hit by restructuring

Prudential Health Insurance has released its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2010. Pre-tax loss for the year was £15.1m (2009: £9.4m profit), largely due to the company’s restructuring related to the integration of Standard Life. Underlying profit before restructuring costs and tax was £21.9m (2009: £14.7m). Total income for the year was down slightly from £269.2m to £262.8m.
