Running costs hit CIC profits

Not-for-profit residential care operator Community Integrated Care reported a 4.7% rise in incoming resources from £99.7m to £104.4m for the year ended 31 March 2015. These revenues were eaten up by the £103.7m (2014: £100.5m) cost of running its specialist care services, including those for older people with dementia, leaving the charity with an operating profit of £660,000 (2014: loss £716,000).
