Southwark signs up to ethical charter but will it result in price increase?

Private homecare providers contracted by Southwark council cannot employ staff on zero hour contracts, will have to pay workers for travel time and offer occupational sickness schemes after the local authority’s cabinet voted to adopt all the elements of trade union Unison’s Ethical Home Care Charter.
