Steady performance for Broadway Lodge

Somerset based drug addiction charity Broadway Lodge posted steady results for the year ending 31 March 2012. Total incoming funds hit just under £2.5m, a small drop on 2011 which came in at just over £2.5m. Expended funds remained the same and were recorded as £2.4m for both 2011 and 2012. Directors said it had been a tough year for the recovery sector and they had seen a number of other treatment centres close, but despite failures elsewhere in the sector they advised that Broadway Lodge was operating from a strong financial base’. Despite the fact that on income of £2.5m the organisation made only a small operating surplus of £33,000 creating a margin of less than 2%.
