THE NEW APPROACH TO INSPECTING THE INDEPENDENT SECTOR

This is is the first of a series of articles to keep providers up to date on the CQC’s development of their approach to independent sector organisations. This month will describe the new approach in general and later articles will look at proposals for its application to the independent sector. The principle is that any differences between the NHS and the independent sector will be as few as possible and justified only by legal or logistic considerations.
