Turnover up but profits down for MITIE healthcare

Revenues in MITIE’s healthcare division rose by 7.3% to £48.2m for the six months ended 30 September 2014 from £44.9m in the same period in 2013. The business, however, reported a fall in operating profit from £5.6m to £4.5m in its half-yearly results. This equated to an operating profit margin of 9.3% (2013: 12.5%).
