Two major homecare operators plan to exit the sector

In what could be seen as a massive vote of no confidence in the state-funded homecare sector, two of the top five domiciliary care providers have decided to pull out. Saga last month announced that its market-leading Allied Healthcare business is now up for sale, albeit with all its private pay elements stripped out.
