Winterbourne View to be revamped under new ownership

Glenside Care Group has announced it has acquired the notorious Winterbourne View care home (CCMn July 2011), which was closed after a BBC Panorama documentary filmed residents being mistreated. The site in Bristol will be transformed into a new hospital service for individuals with complex neurological conditions, including acquired and traumatic brain injury.
