York to replace outdated homes in £13m super-home plan

Following a summer-long consultation, City of York councillors have agreed to move ahead with a £13m plan to modernise the authority’s existing nine-facility care home portfolio, transforming it into a three site, dementia-focused resource with scope to develop an accompanying care village.
