The latest figures from the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) show that prescriptions for Alzheimer’s drugs are six times higher than a decade ago.At 2014, there were 3m prescriptions, compared to 0.5m in 2004, costing NHS primary care services £45.7m.
