Not-for-profit care provider Ambient Support has appointed Lee Hodgson to the newly developed role of chief information officer.
He will lead and develop Ambient’s integrated digital plans, supporting strategic objectives whilst ensuring the charity is compliant, data is secure and mitigating any risks.
Hodgson has held senior positions in various sectors. He joins from Macmillan Cancer Support where he spent almost five years in several roles such as head of services in the South West, director and technology strategic programmes director.

‘Lee brings a wealth of experience and we are delighted that he has chosen to take up this appointment and work with us to bring about positive change.’
Ambient operates more than 130 sites across the UK and provides 30,000 hours of care each week, supporting people with a learning disability or mental illness. It employs more than 1,300 people.
